If I could add a piece of advice: one month ago, I started suffering from too much sitting at the computer and got muscle pains...where I sit (ha ha!)

And you know what was the solution? Set my computer on a high piece of furniture so that I work STANDING UP. Now at first, that was hard on my legs, all that standing for hours on end. It was a little like when we went skiing: the first few days, my leg muscles would hurt like hell when I went to bed. Same with standing at the computer. But now I'm used to it, and the benefits are simply fantastic. I've never felt better in my life and I sleep like a baby, I have twice the energy!

I highly recommend it: DON'T SIT DOWN AT YOUR COMPUTER, WORK STANDING UP! The results are simply amazing...Claude Forthommehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03871790739257823515noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-134119245431811847.post-46710760469247827342014-05-31T20:20:36.210-07:002014-05-31T20:20:36.210-07:00Thanks, everybody - great comments! Thanks, everybody - great comments!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-134119245431811847.post-19142250535206280462014-05-31T02:06:05.352-07:002014-05-31T02:06:05.352-07:00Moving around doesn't feel so great but, at ou...Moving around doesn't feel so great but, at our age, it does help.Shame on me! In the 1st or 2nd session, one of the speakers addressed the problem of a day sitting. He said it was the equivalent of smoking a pack of cigarettes. Walk to the water cooler. Stand up, sit down, stand up, sit down. One author sets his computer on a counter and stands while he writes.
